Job Description

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

·      Lead and supervise the IIB development team in developing and implementing complex integration projects

·      Develop and implement integration solutions using IIB and other technologies such as IBM DataPower and IBM API Connect

·      Support sales team in developing technical solutions and effort estimates in response to RFP and presenting the technical solution to clients

·      Provide support to customers on developed and existing solutions

·      Providing development oversight and technical leadership to other developers. Mentoring other developers

·      Responsible for ensuring that all integration projects meet or exceed the customer requirements

·      Creating and maintaining architecture/technical design specifications, functional specifications, release notes, production implementation plans, etc.

·      Ensuring that complete and comprehensive unit testing is created for all developed/enhanced software

·      Identify potential reuse or re-sellable assets from project engagements

  • Other activities as required.

Qualifications & Education Requirements    

  •  Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or System Analysis discipline, or any related engineering/computer field

·      At least 4 years of experience with IBM API Connect and DataPower

·      At least 6 years of experience with IBM WSRR (WebSphere Service Registry and Repository)

Core Competencies

·      Must have 8 years of experience as an IIB/WMB Developer developing in both Java and ESQL

·      Experience with all versions of WMB, IIB and App Connect from version 8 to current

·      Extensive experienced in creating DFDL and Message Sets for given message structures.

·      Extensive experience in MQ concepts and administration such as the creation of Queue Managers, Queues, Channels and process definition

·      Extensive experienced in error handling using IBM WebSphere Message Broker and MQ Series

·      Extensive experienced in Cluster, disturbed Queue and HA concepts in IIB/MQ

·      Strong development experience using Java & J2EE technology

·      Has the ability to define and gather client Integration requirements and discover the current topology

·      Able to design ESB solutions and patterns based on the required behaviour of services

·      Fully aware of the SOA design principles and guidelines

·      Extensive experience with WebSphere Application Server

·      In depth understanding of XML, JSON, XSLT, SOAP, XML Schemas, WSDL concepts, and RESTful web services

·      Extensive experience in designing and implementing complex integration solutions

·      Mastery of SOA software principles

·      Experience with technologies and tools and technologies including, but not limited to:

o  AIX, Linux and Windows

o  RFHUtil, SoapUI, Hex Edit, XML Spy, Notepad++

o  IBM MQ, IBM DataPower, IIB, WSRR

o  IBM Mainframe

o  Log4J

o  SWIFT message formats

o  XML Schema files, DFDL schema files, message sets

o  Version control systems such as git, SVN

o  JMS, SQL

o  OAuth, SAML

o  Database systems and LDAP

o  Security and identity provider services

·      Demonstrated skills in organization, prioritization, time-management, and decision-making

·      Demonstrate exceptional knowledge of SDLC processes, inputs/outputs, standards and best practices

·      Excellent leadership and presentation skills

·      Fluency in English and excellent written English, Arabic would be beneficial

·      Experience with Azure would be beneficial
